Toshiko Takaezu (1922–2011) was one of the most influential American ceramic artists of the twentieth century and a leading figure in the Studio Craft movement. A graduate and longtime faculty member of Cranbrook Academy of Art, Takaezu is celebrated for elevating ceramics into the realm of fine art through her sculptural vessel forms and expressive glazes. She received the National Living Treasure Award from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the Gold Medal in Craft from the American Craft Council. Her work is held in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and numerous other major museums worldwide.

We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies.
