Own a signed 1982 screenprint by celebrated American Pop artist Tom Wesselmann. Titled “Lulu,” this framed contemporary color screenprint on paper is hand signed in pencil, dated 1982, and numbered 206/250 at the lower right. It was published by Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art and bears the MET blindstamp at the lower left. A Sotheby’s label is present on the verso.
A strong example of Wesselmann’s unmistakable style, “Lulu” features a bold female figure in a flattened, graphic composition accented by vivid color and floral imagery.
