The International Design Center New York Preview Opening 1985 Vintage Lithograph

A graphic framed original poster for the opening of the New York International Design Center in 1985. This is a gorgeous poster featuring a lovely black and white photo of the building by Judith Turner. The building, 200 Lexington Ave, was designed by the legendary architect and designer Ely Jacques Kahn. A single strip of red/orange coloring at the top of the poster compliments the black and white design. This piece is in very good condition but has some small imperfections such as small creases and corner pinholes. This piece measures 38.25 in tall, 26.25 in wide, and .75 in deep. The poster measures 24" x 36".  Provenance: From the personal collection of designer Ralph Rye – a multi-talented visionary with a career in city planning, architecture, interior design, lighting, and furniture design. Rye has collaborated with some of the finest furniture companies in America including Dunbar, Nessen, Thonet, Jens Risom, and Baker.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

 

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
