Svetlana Karchikyan is a fourth-generation artist from a family of painters with Armenian and Russian artistic heritage. Her mother, Lilia Karchikyan, is an internationally recognized portrait painter, while her family history includes a portrait artist associated with the Russian Imperial Court. Karchikyan studied under Italian and Armenian artists, developing a style influenced by European painting traditions. Her work focuses on figurative subjects, color, and texture, often incorporating elements of Impressionism. Since 2008, her paintings have been exhibited internationally, including exhibitions, solo presentations, art auctions, and charitable events in the United States and abroad. She currently lives and works in the United States.
