A set of 3 Arne Vodder for France & Daverkosen Model FD-184 chairs. The FD-184 chair by Arne Vodder is a fantastic Danish design, (and a personal favorite of this writer), featuring a unique swiveling backrest design. Each chair is constructed with a teak wood frame, fabric upholstered seats, brass hardware throughout, and don beautiful rattan cane backrests. The backrest swivels to support the sitter in a variety of sitting positions. The seat has a curved shape which hugs your legs while sitting. Each one of these seats are upholstered in a a baby blue velvet fabric, but two of the chairs have been wrapped over with a different fabric, though the original fabric can still be seen on the underside as pictured. Each of these chairs are in good vintage condition overall, but each have some condition issues such as scuffs, scratches, small tears in the rattan, and some digging to the brass hardware attaching the backrests.
Each chair measures 34 inches tall, 20 inches wide, and 22 inches deep. They have a seat height of 17 inches, a seat depth of 17 inches, a seat width of 20 inches, and a back height of 18 inches.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery. While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
