A drypoint etching on Arches paper titled “Femme a Genoux (Kneeling Woman)” from the “Venus aux Fourrures (Venus in Furs)” series by Salvador Dali. Hand signed in pencil on the lower right with an annotation of 26/50 on the lower left with the blindstamp Dali. Published by Pierre Argillet, Paris in 1968. Certificate of Authenticity included from Dali expert, Bruce Hochman. Reference: Field 68-6. This intaglio print depicts a kneeling female figure with elongated hair rendered in fine, linear detail. The composition includes additional surreal elements in the background, including a mountainous landscape and secondary figures, consistent with Dali’s imaginative iconography of the late 1960s.
