Collage-like textures and abstracted botanical motifs infuse the work with movement and layered depth, while the artist’s distinctive balance of structure and spontaneity reflects his lifelong exploration of symbolism and dreamlike imagery. This print highlights Bezombes' mastery of color and his celebrated place in postwar French modernism.
