A pair of ceramic candlestick holders of tapering form with flared tops and square bases by Robert Lipnick. Hand signed and dated 1994 on the underside. Each is hand-painted in polychrome with figurative and abstract motifs, including stylized faces, fruit, architectural elements, geometric patterns, and landscape imagery. The surfaces feature bold color blocking and graphic line work associated with postmodern and Memphis-inspired design. <br> <br> Provenance: From a private collection. Full condition reports available upon request. <br> <br> Robert Lipnick is an American ceramic artist and educator known for developing a distinctive iconographic language that connects Jewish tradition, popular culture, and personal narrative. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Notre Dame. Lipnick has exhibited nationally, with works shown at institutions including the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Jewish Museum in New York. In addition to exhibiting at the Figge Art Museum, he has been a long-standing educator in eastern Iowa, teaching at Scott Community College, Clinton Community College, and Marycrest College. His career reflects a sustained commitment to studio practice and arts education.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery. While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
