Robert Lawson (1891–1957) was a New York–born painter whose career spanned multiple styles, with a strong presence in mid-century modern abstraction. Trained at the New York School of Fine Art, he also served in the camouflage section of the 40th Engineers during World War I, working alongside noted etcher Kerr Eby. Lawson was an active member of the Westport, Connecticut art colony, and his works reflect both technical rigor and a spirit of experimentation. His legacy is recognized through his contribution to American modernism and his role within significant artist communities of his era.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
