Poul Cadovious 4 Bay Royal System Danish Teak Wall Unit Extendable Table Desk
A vintage 4 bay "Royal System" wall unit by Poul Cadovious. This is a very beautiful example of the Danish Cado wall unit, a staple of the mid century modern home or office. Wall units of this time were utilitarian and functional, but crafted with a certain attention to detail and eye for design that makes them very sought after even today. They were simple, modular, and personal to one's space. This wall unit os constructed with teak wood and features polished brass hardware. This set features 4 bays, with a mixture of shelves, cabinets, drawers, and a rare extendable desk/table system. This entire unit is wall mounted, excluding the feet of the desk/table which touch the floor. The whole wall unit is in very good vintage condition, and includes a handful of extra parts, including an extra vertical wall mount. As pictured, it measures 83.5 inches tall, 126 inches long, and the cabinets measure 16 inches deep. The desk/table measures 29 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 42/63 inches long. This is a very customizable, modular unit, which will change in dimensions depending on configuration.
