A modern Art Nouveau inspired lithograph on deluxe paper titled âPrincess Elodie and the Ice Creamâ by French artist Philippe Henri Noyer. Hand signed in pencil on the bottom right with an annotation of 163/325 on the bottom left. Published circa 1950s. A whimsical composition depicting a crowned girl excitedly eating a giant bowl of elegant ice cream and below is a humorous cat. Philippe Noyer (1917-1985) was one of the most sought-after portraitist painters of Paris and London high society. His oil paintings and watercolors are in prestigious museums, collections and private collections. Provenance: London Arts Group, Detroit. Dimensions: 41 1/8âh x 29 1/2âw (unframed).
