A vintage Butterfly Chair frame with contemporary fabric cover. The Butterfly Chair is one of the most iconic and reproduced designs of the 20th century. The simple design consists of a welded steel frame, and a fabric cover. The original design traces back to Argentina in 1938, designed by architects Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, often refered to as the BKF or Hardoy chair as a salute to the original designers. This specific chair has vintage black steel frame which is in great condition, but the cover has been replaced with a contemporary-made Algoma Net Company purple fabric cover. Overall, the chair is in great condition. It measures approximately 33.5 inches tall, 32 inches wide, and 30 inches deep. It has a seat height of 13 inches, a seat depth of 14 inches, a back height of 16 inches, and a seat width of 12 inches.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
