Norman Stewart, Simonkon 1988 Signed Screenprint on Paper, Edition 17/40 Framed
A vibrant abstract screenprint titled "Simonkon" by Norman Stewart featuring an intricate lattice-like geometric structure enveloped by energetic layers of gestural linework. Hand signed, dated 1988, and numbered 17/40. Executed in rich tones of yellow, black, red, and white, the composition juxtaposes disciplined pattern with expressive mark-making, creating a dynamic interplay of texture, rhythm, and depth. Stewart’s work reflects a fascination with structure, repetition, and visual movement, resulting in a composition that is both formally rigorous and visually spontaneous. The print is a strong example of late 20th-century contemporary abstraction. From a private collection. Dimensions: 36.25"h x 28.25"d x 1"d (framed). In very good condition.
