A graduate of the College for Creative Studies and Eastern Michigan University, Teicher has exhibited extensively since 1979 and is recognized as one of the few women of her generation to establish a career working directly in the foundry. Her sculptures are installed throughout the Midwest, including commissions for Bishop International Airport, Michigan Legacy Art Park, and Hudson's Art Park, and are held in the collections of the Detroit Institute of Arts, Dennos Museum Center, and the Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation.
