The hand-built composition is richly worked with ridges, fissures, and embedded patterns, punctuated by earthy ochre, cream, and deep brown tones. Both front and reverse reveal a sculptural language of fragmentation and reconstruction, hallmarks of Larocque's innovative ceramic practice. From a private collection. Jean-Pierre Larocque (1953- ) is an internationally acclaimed Canadian ceramicist and sculptor, celebrated for his innovative approach to figurative and abstract forms. His work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries worldwide, including the Muse national des beaux-arts du Quebec, the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery, and the Gardiner Museum. Larocque has been the recipient of numerous awards, notably the Saidye Bronfman Award for Excellence in the Fine Crafts, one of Canada's most prestigious distinctions in the arts. His sculptures are held in prominent public and private collections across North America and Europe, recognized for their distinctive textural surfaces, architectural presence, and emotive resonance.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.
In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
