A Japanese Satsuma vase features intricate hand-painted decoration in richly enameled and gilt detail. The body is adorned with a continuous narrative scene of robed figures, attendants, and scholars within a garden setting, rendered in the traditional Satsuma palette of earthy tones highlighted with soft greens, reds, and gold. The upper and lower borders are embellished with elaborate floral and geometric patterns, adding balance and refinement to the composition. The flared neck and pedestal base further emphasize the vase's elegant form. A striking example of Japanese artistry, this vase embodies the detailed workmanship and decorative sophistication for which Satsuma ware is renowned. From a private collection. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
