Ingo Mauer - One From The Heart, 1989 Accent Table Lamp Contemporary Surrealist
An Ingo Mauer "One From The Heart" table lamp. Ingo Mauer originally designed this incredibly unique table lamp back in 1989, originally as a wedding gift for some friends. The lamp was put back into production with a new LED lamp head in 2021, which this model is a part of. The lamp is full of fun, whimsical details. The main structure of the lamp are two red and black intertwining wires, leading from the base through the heart, and up and out the top. The heart stores the lamp head, and above it shines into a small mirrored heart, which reflects a heart onto a nearby wall or tabletop. The base features two small metal discs overlapping, underneath hiding a silly pair of alligators holding the lamp up. This lamp switches on and off with a capacitive system, dimming on and off with a touch of your finger, with adjustable brightness. This lamp is in very good condition. It measures approximately 33 inches tall, and 13 x 6 inches wide.
