Indonesian Woven Lompak Basket Collection Southeast Asian Decorative Art
Collection of three Indonesian woven lompak baskets featuring handwoven rattan and natural fiber construction in varied traditional forms. The group includes a large cylindrical carrying basket with carved wood framing and shoulder straps, a lidded bulbous storage basket with finely coiled weaving, and a smaller rectangular lidded basket with loop closure detail. Rich natural patina and tightly executed weaving demonstrate traditional Southeast Asian basketry craftsmanship and utilitarian design. Originally intended for storage and transport, the baskets now serve as highly decorative objects reflecting regional vernacular craft traditions. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
