A color lithograph on paper titled “Les Pommes et Feuilles (Apples and Leaves) by George Braque. Hand signed in pencil on the lower left. Printed and published by Mourlot, Paris in 1958. Documented in Vallier, catalogue raisonné no. 114. The print depicts a still life composition with apples and leaves rendered in layered tonal areas of brown, ochre, blue, and black. The forms are loosely defined with gestural brush-like passages and outlined contours; characteristic of Braque’s later graphic work This work represents a lithograph from Braque’s mature period and reflects his continued exploration of still life imagery in print form.Provenance: From a private estate in Birmingham, MI. Dimensions: 23.75”h x 28.75”w x 1.25”d (framed). Good overall condition. The sheet shows areas of foxing and overall yellowing consistent with age. No major tears or losses observed. Full condition reports available upon request.Georges Braque (1882–1963) was a French painter and sculptor best known as a co-founder of Cubism alongside Pablo Picasso. His early collaboration in the development of Analytic and Synthetic Cubism played a central role in shaping twentieth-century modern art. Braque received significant recognition during his lifetime. In 1961, he became the first living artist to have his work exhibited at the Louvre. He represented France at the Venice Biennale and was awarded the Legion of Honour. Major retrospectives of his work were organized internationally, and his works are held in leading museum collections worldwide.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies.
