A refined example of Italian mid-century modern design, this polished chrome eight-arm chandelier by Gaetano Sciolari showcases the designer’s signature balance of geometry and glamour. Eight cylindrical chrome sleeves radiate from a central hub in a clean, architectural formation, each topped with a globe bulb that enhances its sculptural, space-age presence. In addition to the eight upper sockets shown, the fixture is designed to hold up to sixteen bulbs total, with eight additional sockets positioned on the undersides of the arms beneath the existing bulbs for amplified illumination. The fixture is in good condition and measures at 16 inches in height and has a diameter of 21.5 inches.
