An abstract contemporary lithograph on paper titled “Homage/L.V.B.” by Douglas Warfield Warner. Hand signed bottom right and dated 1979. Annotated 27/50 mid-bottom and titled bottom left. The composition features a stark black background with energetic white and red squiggly lines as well as the artist’s fingerprints. A minimal modern statement. This print is the permanent collection of the John & Geraldine Lilley Museum of Art in Reno, NV. Douglas Warfield Warner (1930-2013) earned a BFA from Oklahoma State University and an MS from the University of Wisconsin. He served as an office in the United States Army. He moved to Flint in 1958 to join the faculty of Mott Community College where he was an art instructor for 35 years. From a private collection. Dimensions: 22.25”h x 18.25”w x 1.5”d (framed).
