An antique Baga serpent African “Bansonyi” snake carved wooden sculpture. From the Baga tribe in Guinea Africa. A monumental sculpture with black and rust colored geometric patterns that are traditional tribal decoration. The spirit “Ninkinanka” called “Bansonyi” or “A-mantsho-na-tshol” or “Inap” reigned among the Baga people, who feared him. He was the spirit involved in curing infertility and droughts, bringing prosperity, wealth, and rain. A unique collector’s item of African sculpture art. From a private collection. Dimensions: 63.5”h x 50”w x 16”d. In good vintage condition consistent with age.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies.
