1960s Edward Wormley for Dunbar Plinth Base Monumental Mohair Sectional Sofa
A 1960s Edward Wormley for Dunbar plinth base 2 piece sectional sofa. This is a monumental 2 piece sectional, torn right out of the 1960s. This stunning sofa features a gorgeous beige mohair fabric upholstery covering the frame, as well as the seat and back cushions. Both pieces sit atop a beautiful plinth base, a sharp wood accent to the soft upholstery fabric; a perfect pairing. Each of the two pieces are slightly different shapes, one being a straight sofa with two corners, and the other having one corner and a flat end. While this set looks stunning as a sectional together, there is no reason these pieces cannot shine separately in a room. This entire set is in very good vintage condition. Every cushion on this sectional is fully removable for ease of cleaning. The original Dunbar tagging can be seen underneath the seat cushions as pictured.
