Jan Saudek (b. 1935) is an internationally acclaimed Czech photographer celebrated for his pioneering work in hand-colored photography and his provocative exploration of love, mortality, and the human condition. A leading figure in postwar European art, Saudek gained global recognition after his inclusion in "10 Photographers" at the International Center of Photography, New York (1973) and through major retrospectives at institutions such as the Musee National d'Art Moderne (Centre Pompidou, Paris) and the Museum of Modern Art (New York). His work is represented in numerous permanent collections, including the Getty Museum, George Eastman Museum, and Art Institute of Chicago. Saudek has received multiple honors, including the Czech Medal of Merit (2006), solidifying his legacy as one of the most influential and controversial photographers of the 20th century.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
