A contemporary oil painting on canvas by American artist Tom H. John. Hand signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Circa 2000s. A bright and vibrant painting with tropical themes. The stylization has fluid expressive abstraction, bold cubist qualities, and whimsical geometric forms. Per the artist, "I have always worked in the "abstract," borrowing whimsical shapes from the stages of dance performances and ballets I've designed, and geometric shapes from architectural drawings for buildings I've designed. Painting gives me the freedom to incorporate both." A unique statement in a modern or contemporary space. From a private collection. Dimensions: 49.25"h x 49.25"w x 2"d (framed). In very good condition. 

Tom H. John (1931- ) is a contemporary American visual artist. For many years the artist was an influential production designer and he received five Emmys and the Peabody Award. This experience translates to John's fine art with architectural and set design influences. John has had solo shows on the East and West Coast, and his paintings are held in a number of private collections. John lives and works in New York.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

 

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
