A modern Pop Art lithographic book plate titled “Artist’s Studio, Look Mickey (1973)” by Roy Lichtenstein. Hand signed in ink upper right. 1980s. Executed in his iconic Pop Art style, the work presents a stylized interior of the artist’s studio, featuring sharp outlines, bold primary colors, and Ben-Day dots. On the wall hangs a fragment of his earlier work “Look Mickey”, referencing his own legacy with irony and wit. Everyday objects—like a rotary phone, fruit, and a plant—are rendered with graphic precision, reinforcing Lichtenstein’s interplay between fine art and commercial illustration. This framed print captures his masterful synthesis of art history, humor, and visual culture.

Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) was an American pop artist. During the 1960s, along with Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and James Rosenquist among others, he became a leading figure in the new art movement. His work defined the premise of pop art through parody. He was most famous for his comic book style and was directly influenced by popular comic strips of the time. Lichtenstein's art can be found in countless museum collections internationally and the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC holds the largest repository of the artist's work. Today, his paintings reach auction records in the millions, the highest being $165 million in 2017.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
