A classic patriotic mixed-media lithography with acrylic painting on paper titled “God Bless America II” by famed artist Peter Max. Hand signed in acrylic by artist bottom right. Created in 2001. Lady Liberty’s portrait makes an appearance alongside a full figure painting and Max’s rendition of the U.S. flag. Max again draws upon American icons like the Statue of Liberty to reflect his love of America. Max worked with Lee Iacocca of Chrysler in the ‘80s to raise funds to restore the Statue of Liberty. Peter Max is a German-American artist known for using bright colors in his work. His works are associated with the visual arts and culture of the 1960s, particularly psychedelic art and pop art.
