A contemporary textural ceramic wall installation by Michigan sculptor Mark Chatterley, composed of twelve individually hand-formed fish. Circa 2000s. Artist's stamp and numbered on verso. From a private estate in Metro Detroit. Dimensions: 5" x 3.5" x 7.5" (approximately as each differ in size). In very good condition.
Each piece features a richly glazed surface with variegated tones of teal, green, and earthy brown, evoking the organic patina of aged bronze. Characteristic of Chatterley’s expressive and tactile style, the set captures a sense of movement and vitality within a unified sculptural composition. Signed by the artist, this work exemplifies his distinctive approach to figurative and nature-inspired ceramic art.
Mark Chatterley (American, b. 1954) is an acclaimed Michigan sculptor recognized for his monumental ceramic and mixed-media works that blur the line between human, animal, and mythic forms. A graduate of Michigan State University, Chatterley has exhibited nationally and internationally, with sculptures featured in public collections and outdoor installations across the United States and Europe. His work has been showcased at prestigious venues including the Flint Institute of Arts, the Dennos Museum Center, and SOFA Chicago. Known for his innovative use of clay and unique cratered glaze surfaces, Chatterley has received numerous awards at national juried exhibitions and is celebrated for pushing the technical and expressive boundaries of contemporary ceramic sculpture.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.
In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
