A contemporary painting on canvas Untitled (Red & Green) by American artist John Beardman. Signed on the verso. Circa late 1980s to early 1990s. The composition features abstract expressionistic neutral tones with splashes of red and green. Beardman's style was greatly influenced by Willem de Kooning and the introduction of "action painting" in post-war art scene. A dynamic painting for a modern space. The dimensions are 54.25"h x 62.75"w x 2.25”d (framed). In very good vintage condition.
John Beardman (1937-) has exhibited at various galleries, including one person exhibitions in New York City at: M55 Art, NYC, (2011 and 2012), Denise Bibro Fine Art, Allan Stone Gallery, O.K. Harris, the Jayne H. Baum, and 55 Mercer galleries. Group show include Noho Gallery, M55 Art (2013) In Louisville, Kentucky he has exhibited at the Brownstown Gallery; in Birmingham Michigan at Art Space. He has works in both public and private collections including HDH Corp, John Hart, NBC, Best Products, Harry Bober, Allan Stone, Florence Barron, Cornel West, Cranbrook Academy of Art and the Detroit Institute of Arts. In addition he has received numerous creative artist's grants and fellowships. We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.
In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
