A refined late 18th-century etching after Jean-Honore Fragonard captures allegorical figures in the style of antique Roman ceiling frescoes. Rendered in delicate linework and rich tonal washes, the upper composition features a winged female figure with a cherub, possibly symbolizing divine inspiration or abundance. Below, a majestic seated figure brandishes a sword and shield, exuding strength and classical poise. The inscriptions reference works found in Roman locations, suggesting Fragonard created this piece as a study or homage during his stay in Italy. A testament to his early mastery, the print combines academic precision with Baroque theatricality.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
