A contemporary glass sculpture by Elizabeth Ryland Mears. Circa 1990s. Small multi-colored glass sculptures are forged in the shape of twigs. They are spindled together, placed on a metal woven cradle, and suspended on a metal base. Contemporary art echoes elements found in nature. A nod to fold and native art. From a private collection. Measures 10 inches tall, 23 inches long, and 9 inches wide. In very good vintage condition.
Elizabeth Ryland Mears s a full time, award winning studio artist. She creates works in glass and mixed media using primarily the glassblowing technique of flamework. She intensively studied that glass technique at Penland School of Crafts, Pilchuck Glass School and The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass. She was a scholarship student at the latter two and has now taught at many of the venues where she was a student, as well as, others. Mears’ creations are represented by galleries throughout the nation and are included in numerous private, corporate, and museum collections.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.
In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
