"Midnight Machinery" is a striking example of his exploration of surface, form, and abstraction. Executed in acrylic on paper, this textured print presents an intricate grid-like composition in deep black tones, evoking the sense of mechanical systems or coded language. The layered and embossed surface creates a tactile, almost sculptural quality, inviting close inspection of its rhythmic patterns and hidden details. 

David McKirdy is a Tampa-based mixed media artist recognized for his award-winning explorations of texture, order, and pattern. A former biology student at the University of South Florida, his scientific background informs his meticulous process, where surfaces are punctured, burned, or layered to create intricate optical fields that evoke both microscopic and cosmic associations. Celebrated for transforming minimal means into complex visual experiences, McKirdy’s work has been widely exhibited and honored for its innovation, endurance, and conceptual depth.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
