A set of 3 offset lithographs on paper by Claes Oldenburg from the “Notes in Hand” series, 1972. Includes “Skyscrapers in the Form of a Hypodermic Needle”, Los Angeles, 1968 – 38. Hand signed in pencil on the lower right with an annotation 64/100 on the lower left. Also includes the title page and a photograph of the artist in the clamshell box. Provenance: Alice Simsar Gallery, Ann Arbor. Dimensions: 8.25”h x 10.5”w x 2.5”d (size of box) / 10”h x 8”w (prints). In good vintage condition.
Claes Oldenburg (1929-2022) was a Swedish-born American sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring large replicas of everyday objects. Another theme in his work is soft sculpture versions of everyday objects. Oldenburg's sculpture Typewriter Eraser (1976), the third piece from an edition of three, was sold for $2.2 million at Christie's New York in 2009.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
