Description

An expressive and lively abstract expressionist metal wall art titled “Dusk (Jerusalem)” by Israeli artist Calman Shemi. Hand signed, titled, and annotated 4/99 on verso. Circa 1990s. This three-dimensional artwork has an artful mix of colors, shapes, and themes. There are figurative and still life elements to create a unique composition. A statement artwork in a modern or contemporary home. Dimensions: 41.5”h x 36.75”w x 1.5”d. In excellent vintage condition. Calman Shemi (1939- ) is a contemporary abstract expressionist painting known for “lacquer paintings,” “soft painting,” and “window paintings.” In 1961, at age 20, Shemi had the opportunity to study under the German-Israeli sculptor Rudi Lehmann, one of the pioneers of sculpture in the Middle East. In the last two decades, he has held more than 70 solo exhibitions in the United States, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Japan, France, and the Middle East. Sheni has shared with the world various forms of sculptures and paintings. His artworks can be seen on display in many public places and private collections around the globe.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies.
