A surreal scene depicted in fragmented shapes and vivid colors for a unique composition. The stark black and white expressive blocks of colors are inspired by compositions created by Robert Motherwell. Provenance: London Arts Group, Detroit. Dimensions: 25.75âh x 30.25âw (unframed). In very good vintage condition.
John Hultberg (1922-2005) was an American Abstract expressionist and Abstract realist painter. Early in his career he was related to the Bay Area Figurative Movement. Hultberg primarily made Abstract expressionist paintings that were minimalist and dark, and also made Surrealist invented landscapes with "linear perspectives and angular shapes." Hultberg was described as an Abstract realism, who combines "abstract" and "concrete" with attention to detail, bold color use, and strong design. His works are in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art and Museum of Modern Art, New York City.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
