A vintage modern lithograph in colors on Japon paper titled "Circus Couple" by Fernard Leger (After). Signed in the plate on the bottom right with an annotation of 88/300 on the bottom left by Fernand Mourlot. Embossed stamp via the Leger Museum bottom left. The minimal black lines with highlights of primary colors creates the perfect accent for a mid-century modern aesthetic. Leger was a French painter, sculptor, and filmmaker. In his early works he created a personal form of cubism which he gradually modified into a more figurative, populist style. His boldly simplified treatment of modern subject matter has caused him to be regarded as a forerunner of pop art. From a private collection. Dimensions: 25.75"h x 30.25"w x 1"h. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
