Description
Bold, minimal, and quietly dramatic—this modernist serigraph on paper titled “Even Tide” captures a coastal mood using crisp, abstracted color fields. In the artwork, a deep violet “sky” meets a vivid magenta band, separated by a torn-edge white horizon that feels like surf breaking at dusk. A small white orb (moon or sun) floats above a dense black foreground, creating a striking sense of scale and calm.
Printed in the 1980s and pulled in a limited edition, this piece is hand signed in pencil and titled with edition notation, making it an excellent choice for collectors of graphic modernism and color-field abstraction. Unframed and oversized, it’s ready for a custom frame that can lean gallery-clean (white mat, thin black frame) or warmer and more architectural (natural oak or walnut).
