A drypoint etching on paper titled “Femme a la Chaussure (Woman with Shoe)” from the “Venus aux Fourrures (Venus in Furs)” series by Salvador Dali. Hand signed in pencil on the lower right with an annotation of 26/50 on the lower left with the blindstamp Dali. Published by Pierre Argillet, Paris in 1968. Certificate of Authenticity included from Dali expert, Bruce Hochman. Reference: Field 68-6. The intaglio depicts a reclining female figure rendered in fine, linear detail, accompanied by a male figure positioned above. The composition incorporates sweeping arcs and abstract linear elements characteristic of Dali’s late 1960s graphic work; it reflects Dali’s continued engagement with figurative and surreal subject matter in etching.Provenance: From a private collection.
