Description
A beautifully stylized and evocative stone sculpture by Native American artist Victor Vigil, signed and dated 1992. This contemporary piece features a serene female figure adorned with a floral motif carved in relief across the torso, symbolizing growth, harmony, and cultural heritage. The sweeping form and flowing etched lines suggest motion and spirituality, with long hair cascading in soft planes around the figure’s face. The sculpture is mounted on a smooth, rounded wood base that adds warmth and contrast to the cool stone, completing a dignified and modern presentation of indigenous artistry.
