Description
A Peter Saenger "Design II (aka Picard's Tea Set)" nesting tea set and matching sugar & creamer set. This is a collectible porcelain tea set titled "Design II" by American ceramic designer Peter Saenger, known for his sculptural and futuristic forms. Artist's impressed signature on the underside. Originally designed and produced in the late 1970s. This organically shaped, interlocking set includes a teapot, creamer, sugar, and four cups with matching tray, all finished in Saenger's signature matte white glaze. The "Design II" series gained cultural recognition after being featured as Captain Picard's tea set in Star Trek: The Next Generation. A striking example of modernist design blending functionality with sculptural minimalism. The whole set is in very good vintage condition overall, but one of the cups has a large crack leading down the side as pictured. Approximate measurements (inches) listed below.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
