Depicting a tranquil riverside scene with cherry blossoms framing a bridge and traditional architecture, the work exemplifies Yoshida's fusion of Japanese woodblock technique with Western-influenced perspective and light. Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) was one of the most acclaimed masters of the shin-hanga movement, celebrated for revitalizing the traditional Japanese woodblock print with modern composition and Western-influenced perspective. Trained at the Kyoto and Tokyo art schools, Yoshida gained international recognition through exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and India, establishing himself as a leading figure in early 20th-century Japanese printmaking. His works were widely collected and exhibited by major institutions, including the Smithsonian, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the British Museum. Honored for his technical innovation and luminous landscapes, Yoshida is remembered as one of Japan's most important print artists, bridging Eastern craftsmanship with Western sensibility.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
