Erte (Romain de Tirtoff, 1892-1990) was a pioneering figure of the Art Deco movement, celebrated for his elegant designs spanning fashion, theater, and the visual arts. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and later based in Paris, Erte gained international acclaim through his long association with Harper's Bazaar, where he created over 200 covers between 1915 and 1937. His work extended to costume and set designs for the Folies Bergere, the Paris Opera, and Hollywood films, influencing generations of designers. Often called the "Father of Art Deco," Erte's creations are held in major museum collections worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Smithsonian Institution, cementing his legacy as one of the most influential decorative artists of the 20th century.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.
In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
