Description

A set of antique Art Deco clad bookends manufactured by Armor Bronze, New York in 1922. The company logo is embossed stamped on the inside of the bookends. A Greek motif with a male figure holding a musical harp. The repetitive geometric patterns symbolized order, harmony, and infinity which was found in Greek art and revitalized in Art Deco designs. A unique collector’s item. From a private collection. Dimensions: 7.25”h x 3”w x 5”d. In very good vintage condition with patina that is consistent with age.
