A Royal Doulton Holbein Ware ceramic vessel, model "Alpena," dating to the early 1910s. Maker's mark on underside. This finely crafted example features a pastoral hand-painted rural scene with grazing cows and sheep set against a warm sunset gradient of ochre, rust, and green hues. The vessel's Art Nouveau-inspired form includes fluid scroll handles and embossed detailing with gilt highlights. This piece exemplifies the brand's early 20th-century craftsmanship, merging English artistry with German decorative influence. From a private collection. Dimensions: 8.5"h x 7"w x 3"d.
