An exceptionally rare and beautifully bound 1905 trade catalogue from Yamanaka & Co., the esteemed Japanese art dealership based in Osaka with international branches in New York, Boston, and London. This early 20th-century volume features finely printed listings of decorative arts and furnishings, housed in an ornate brocade cloth binding with traditional tassel ties and Japanese calligraphy on the cover. A remarkable artifact of cross-cultural art commerce, this catalogue provides historical insight into Meiji-era export aesthetics and Yamanaka's influential role in introducing Japanese art to Western collectors and institutions. In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
