Allen Smutylo (Canadian, b. 1946) is an acclaimed painter, printmaker, and author whose work is celebrated for its immersive depictions of wilderness and human connection to nature. Over a career spanning five decades, his art has been featured in more than 40 solo exhibitions across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Smutylo’s work is represented in over 300 public, corporate, and private collections worldwide, including the Art Gallery of Ontario, The Royal Ontario Museum, and Canada House in London, UK. A recipient of numerous awards and honors, he has also been recognized for his writing, winning the Banff Mountain Book Award for The Memory of Water. Smutylo’s dual contributions as both artist and author have solidified his reputation as one of Canada’s most distinctive contemporary voices, known for capturing the grandeur and fragility of remote landscapes.

We ship world-wide and quote through USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, GPX, and with multiple domestic and international freight shipping companies to get you the best price on delivery, and we offer free pick-up for anyone who wants to handle their own delivery.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.

While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
