A National Board Certified Visual Arts Educator and Artist-in-Residence at Cranbrook Schools, Reid has received the Kresge Arts in Detroit Visual Artist Fellowship and Michigan's Governor's Award for Emerging Artist. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD), Kentler International Drawing Space in New York, the St. Catharines Museum in Canada, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York.
