A modernist glazed ceramic plate by Ron Lieberman. Signed on verso. Circa 1970s. This expressive studio pottery plate features an abstract composition evocative of John Glick’s iconic surface treatments. A rich black glaze serves as the backdrop for bold hand-applied slip and glaze designs in earthy red, ochre, and rust tones. Organic, gestural forms and linear accents give the piece a painterly quality, blending modernist abstraction with traditional ceramic techniques. Signed by the artist on the reverse, this plate exemplifies the experimental and tactile aesthetic of 1970s American studio ceramics.

In most cases parcels are shipped out in 1-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 1-10 weeks depending on location. We have freight shipments delivered to the East Coast every 1-2 weeks, and to the West Coast every 3- 5 weeks. All delivery dates provided by us are estimates, and all freight deliveries are fulfilled by third party companies. The shipping company we book your delivery with will contact you directly to schedule delivery.
While damage in transit is rare, if you receive a damaged item, please retain all packing materials and notify us as soon as possible. We would be happy to facilitate an insurance claim to reimburse you for the cost of repair; or to accept a return for a full refund.
