His evolving practice incorporated steel, copper, brass, and chrome, with increasingly intricate and reflective compositions becoming hallmarks of his work. Berger's sculptures attracted a substantial national following, with designs such as his celebrated Kaleidoscope becoming particularly successful among collectors.
