A chic mid-century modern fine China dining set designed by Paul McCobb. Stamped Contempri fine China designed by Paul McCobb Japan Jackson Internationale. Circa 1959-1960s. This is a rare complete set which includes 16 large plates (10.25diam x 1h), 16 small plates (6diam x .75w), 16 small footed bowls (1.75h x 5.5diam), 15 saucer plates (6.25diam x .75h), 15 teacups 3h x 4dia), 3 big bowls (2.75h x 8.25diam), 2 medium bowls (1.5h x 7.5diam), 2 lidded cups (3h x 3.5diam), 2 creamers (3h x 5 diam), 2 serving dishes (1.5h x 13.5w x 9d), and salt & pepper shakers (3h x 2diam). A sleek black and white design that would be stunning in any modern designed space. From a private collection. In very good vintage condition.
